Notice & takedown · 17 U.S.C. §512
HearQA is a home media and personal-assistant app. Its media features let you play from sources you connect or that you have the right to access. HearQA does not host, store, or redistribute the underlying content, and users are responsible for the sources they connect. If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act for one) and believe material accessible through a user’s connected sources infringes your rights, you can send us a takedown notice and we will act on valid notices promptly.
How to file a notice
A valid notice must identify the copyrighted work, identify the allegedly infringing material with enough detail for us to locate it, include your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement — under penalty of perjury — that you are authorized to act. Use the form below, or email legal@hearqa.com directly.
What happens next
Valid notices are reviewed and actioned (the relevant result is removed from discovery) within a reasonable time. We notify the affected user where applicable. Repeat infringers may have their account terminated. Knowingly materially misrepresenting that material is infringing may subject you to liability under §512(f).
